Analysis of Clustering Methods
Lipták, Šimon ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burgetová, Ivana (advisor)
The aim of this master's thesis was to get acquainted with cluster analysis, clustering methods and their theoretical properties. It was necessary select clustering algorithms whose properties will be analyzed, find and select data sets on which these algorithms will be triggered. Also, the goal was to design and implement an application that will evaluate and display clustering results in an appropriate manner. The last step was to analyze the results and compare them with theoretical assumptions.
Automatizovaná detekce makromolekulárních komplexů z kvantitativních STEM snímků a výpočet jejich molekulární hmotnosti
Záchej, Samuel ; Walek, Petr (referee) ; Hrubanová, Kamila (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with problems of processing and analysis of images from quantitative STEM microscope. The thesis describes principles of image formation and methods of image processing. An essential part is a description of properties and classification of detected macromolecular complexes. A practical part includes processing of exemplary images in MATLAB. An important part is a design and realization of the algorithm for detection objects in the image, their classification and calculation of their molecular mass. The thesis includes testing of used algorithms and analysis of the results.
Mathematical Methods in Economics
Molnárová, Dominika ; Doubravský, Karel (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
This Bachelor Thesis concentrates on evaluation and comparison of the situation on individual labour markets in European union using mathematical and statistical models. The thesis primarily focuses on the analysis and development of significant economical indexes, such as unemployment rate, GDP and average income. The thesis also targets on providing the relationship between the selected indexes with correlation analysis and finally sorts the mentioned EU countries into similarity ground using the cluster analysis.
Improving an Existing System for Clustering Binary Files
Plaskoň, Pavol ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Kolář, Dušan (advisor)
The increase in the amount of information requires advanced processing of data. One of such methods is cluster analysis. It is a process of classification of objects based on their similarity. Anti-malware companies analyze large amount of files every day. In order to speed up their analysis, a cluster-analysis tool was implemented in AVG Technologies. The goal of this work is to improve this tool for clustering binary files by adding support and heuristics for cluster analysis of APK and DEX file formats. Apart from the newly added support for APK and DEX files, the tool has been extended to support cluster analysis of archives. Everything was tested and put into production.
Improving an Existing System for Clustering of Files
Jasnický, Matúš ; Kolář, Dušan (referee) ; Křivka, Zbyněk (advisor)
The aim of this work is to extend the existing tool named Clusty --- developed by Avast Software to cluster various file types --- with new file types, namely PDF and LNK (MS Windows shortcut). Data needed for clustering are obtained by static analysis of files by third-party tools. The work also describes the selection of suitable attributes and methods for clustering. All parts of the work have been tested and deployed into production.
Business Intelligence - Use of Data Mining in Business Processes
Skalický, Tomáš ; Veselý, Martin (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to get acquainted with the concept of Business Intelligence as well as with the concept of data mining and its use in the company sphere. In the introductory theoretical part I will introduce the tools of Business Intelligence and data mining methods. In the following practical part I will use the methods for analysis of provided company data. The analysis obtained can be used as a support for company decision making.
Fuzzy Sets Use in Cluster Analysis with a Special Attention to a Fuzzy C-means Clustering Method
Camara, Assa ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Žák, Libor (advisor)
This master thesis deals with cluster analysis, more specifically with clustering methods that use fuzzy sets. Basic clustering algorithms and necessary multivariate transformations are described in the first chapter. In the practical part, which is in the third chapter we apply fuzzy c-means clustering and k-means clustering on real data. Data used for clustering are the inputs of chemical transport model CMAQ. Model CMAQ is used to approximate concentration of air pollutants in the atmosphere. To the data we will apply two different clustering methods. We have used two different methods to select optimal weighting exponent to find data structure in our data. We have compared all 3 created data structures. The structures resembled each other but with fuzzy c-means clustering, one of the clusters did not resemble any of the clustering inputs. The end of the third chapter is dedicated to an attempt to find a regression model that finds the relationship between inputs and outputs of model CMAQ.
Forensic Analysis of Bitcoin Network
Drozda, Tomáš ; Grégr, Matěj (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis is focused on Bitcoin forensic analysis. Main goal of this thesis was to design and implement system tool for forensic analysis. Theoretical part of this thesis is dedicated to Bitcoin network. Requirements and existing tools are described in following chapters. Rest of the thesis is concerned about implementation of such a tool itself. Implemented system is presented as web application, which allows user to search through blockchain, vizualize financials, display profile pages of Bitcoin users and their Bitcoin wallets.
Regionálne disparity medzi severom a juhom Nemecka
Ištoňová, Miroslava
This diploma thesis deals with existing regional disparities in Germany with focus on differences between north and south regions at NUTS I level. The main goal is to divide analysed regions into clusters of similar regions using cluster analysis and prove the existence of regional disparities between north and south of Germany. Regional differences are determined using a group of selected regional disparity indicators that reflect different aspects of economy and life in German regions. The aim is also to analyse the development trend of regional disparities in years 2006-2016 using β and δ convergence models. Results are subsequently interpreted from an economic point of view.
